Life Saving
SeaMe can act as a personal underwater safety device designed to help locate individuals who may be in distress or unable to resurface. Attached directly to the diver or swimmer, the device is programmed to release a buoy after a user-defined period of time. The buoy, connected via a line, rises to the surface and clearly marks the person’s position.
This system allows for quicker and more precise rescue efforts in critical situations, such as:
- Divers who do not return to the surface at the expected time
- Freedivers suffering from shallow water blackout
- Swimmers who unintentionally descend or lose consciousness underwater
The timer can be adjusted to match the activity, making SeaMe flexible and easy to use in a variety of underwater environments. The buoy’s visibility above the surface can drastically reduce search time and increases the chances of a successful rescue.
Please note: The life-saving version of SeaMe is currently under development and testing. It is not yet available for use in safety applications.
